Sanc|tus «SANGK tuhs, SAHNGK tus», noun.
1. a hymn beginning “Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus” in Latin and “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts” in English, ending the preface of the Mass or Eucharistic service.
2. a musical setting of this.
